Building Homes & Building Hope.

Giving Back During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Every home has a story.

It’s where families gather around the kitchen island, where birthdays are celebrated, where everyday moments turn into lifelong memories, and where the people we love most find comfort.

At Heritage Homes, those people have always been at the heart of what we do. That’s why each October, we’re proud to turn homebuilding into an opportunity to give back during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For every Heritage Homes contract written during the month of October, Heritage Homes will donate $500 to the Sanford Health Foundation in support of the Edith Sanford Breast Center.

One home at a time, we’re helping build hope right here in our community.

Why We Build Hope

For many of us, breast cancer isn’t something that happens somewhere else.

It’s personal. It’s a family member, friend, neighbor, coworker or someone else whose story has become part of our own.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month gives us an opportunity to recognize those currently facing breast cancer, celebrate survivors, remember loved ones and show our support for the families, friends and healthcare professionals who walk alongside patients throughout their journey. It also gives us an opportunity to do something.

At Heritage Homes, giving back has long been an important part of who we are. We believe a strong community isn’t simply a place where you build homes. It’s a place where people show up for one another.

This October, we’re showing up in pink.

Lighting Our Homes Pink

If you drive by Heritage Homes this October, you may notice we’re looking a little different.

We’re lighting our five Model homes in our beautiful SunSet Valley community in Horace and office pink as a visible reminder of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Those pink lights represent the strength of those fighting breast cancer, the joy of survivors, the memory of those we’ve lost and the hope shared by families throughout our community.

Our team will be joining in, too, proudly wearing pink and helping keep the conversation going throughout the month.

Sometimes a color can say quite a lot.

Why Do You Wear Pink?

This October, we’re also asking our homeowners, team members, trade partners, friends and neighbors to join the conversation.

Who do you wear pink for?

Maybe it’s someone currently going through treatment.

Maybe it’s a survivor whose strength inspires you.

Maybe it’s someone you miss.

Or maybe you simply wear pink because you believe every person facing breast cancer deserves a community standing behind them.

Whatever your reason, we invite you to join us throughout October as we fill our homes, our team and our community with a little more pink, and a lot more hope.

Let’s Build Hope Together

If building a new home has been on your mind, October is an especially meaningful time to begin the conversation with us at Heritage Homes.

Together, we can build beautiful homes.

We can build stronger communities.

And, most importantly, we can Build Hope.
